The Russian Middle East Association together with Qatar Arabic Language Center, QALC (a part of Qatari-Russian Center for Cooperation) are pleased to announce an online meeting with Dr. Mountaser Al-Hamad, associate Professor at the Qatar University and fellow of Higher Education Academy (UK) The subject of the lecture is «A word is enough to the wise» (اللبيب بالإشارة يفهم) based on the book «Nod and gesture: Non-verbal communication in Qatari culture» by Dr. Mountaser Al-Hamad.

The meeting will be dedicated to historical, geographical, political and linguistic context of non-verbal communication, sign world culture, types of non-verbal communication in different cultures and comparison of Qatari and Russian culture.
